Patna got its first Haat on 5th October 2017 as Patna Haat at Gandhi Maidan, Patna was inaugurated in a colorful ceremony by Anand Kishore, Commissioner, Patna.
Patna Haat showcases the country’s craft and cultural tradition, and is an open air shopper’s paradise which is a one stop destination for art, craft, and music and food lovers. This Haat has been developed by Govt. of Bihar, Patna.
Patna Haat has a provision of 34 Nos. of typical stalls for shops. These stalls showcase ethnic and exotic products and materials exclusive to India. There are endless shopping opportunities for the visitors as it brings India’s old rural tradition of open market space to contemporary and modern Patna.
Patna Haat gives ample opportunity for food lovers to savor delectable lip smacking food as there are many food stalls set up where one will be able to savor the flavors from across the country and various food stalls serving cuisines from around the world.
Patna Haat is being developed for the purpose of creating new opportunities for the Artist of Bihar. It will give the Artist to show their products which they can sell directly to the customers.
In Patna Haat renowned artists will be invited from time to time to show their skills for the students and the Art lovers. In weekends Music night will be organised in the evening. Musicians and singers who wants to perform or need the platform to show their skills can use the platform of Patna Haat which will help them for their future.
Programs on Public speaking and debate will be organised for the school students on different issues. Talk shows will be organised on different State and National issues.
